Bryce Tupper ’27
This summer I’m working as an industry development fellow with Innovate Carolina, UNC–Chapel Hill’s Office of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development. In this role, I’m helping to build and to expand relationships between UNC and companies, nonprofits, and community organizations across North Carolina.
One partnership I’ve focused on this summer is the Ronald McDonald House. Through Innovate Carolina, we’ve explored ways UNC can support their “Lights of Love” initiative, and through my role as a practice player for the UNC women’s basketball team, I’ve helped connect the team with the Ronald McDonald House to create opportunities for volunteerism and support. The Alpha Sigma Foundation scholarship helped make this work possible by supporting transportation and living expenses throughout the summer.
