The Alpha Sigma Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide extraordinary learning and educational opportunities to undergraduate members of Alpha Sigma of Chi Psi and other students enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Alpha Sigma of Chi Psi was founded in 1855 as the fifth fraternity at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since that time, Alpha Sigma has enriched the lives of more than 1,500 young men whose paths have taken them to Chapel Hill. In turn, undergraduates and alumni, young and old, have honored Chi Psi with their individual and collective accomplishments and contributions.
The legacy of the brothers of Alpha Sigma is undeniable. Alumni are business, political, and community leaders around the country and world. By whatever measure, Alpha Sigma has embraced Oliver Rowe’s (’25 and former #7 of Chi Psi) challenge, “In all things, excellence.”
