This summer, I participated in the University of North Carolina’s Silicon Revolution Maymester, an Honors Carolina study-abroad program in California. During the program, I traveled throughout Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area to learn about entrepreneurship, innovation, venture capital, and the technology industry by visiting leading companies and engaging with industry professionals. The experience provided firsthand insight into how emerging technologies and entrepreneurial ecosystems drive economic growth and shape the future of business. As a business administration and political science student at UNC, I am grateful to the Alpha Sigma Foundation for supporting this opportunity through the Summer Enrichment Scholarship, which made this transformative experience possible.
