The school year has begun! There are 77 returning brothers in the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. This year, the Lodge will be filled with 28 live-ins: 16 sophomores and 12 juniors.
Currently, the Lodge is 66% in-state, 32% out-of-state, and 2% international. The NC map shows that a majority of brothers are from Wake, Mecklenburg, and New Hanover Counties.
The US map, however, indicates that brothers are also from a majority of the other states in the south (AL, FL, GA, MD, SC, TN, TX, and VA) in addition to the west (CA, CO, and WY), midwest (IN and OH), and Northeast (MA, NY, and PA).
Finally, the world map shows that brothers hail from Kenya and Japan.
The Lodge itself is in excellent shape after summer work in the crawlspace to manage moisture and to add supports under the dining room floor. In addition, five bedrooms were renovated, and a beverage machine was replaced in the outer kitchen.
