What was YOUR major?

What was your major back in the day? Were you a double major? Did you have a minor? Today’s Carolina students have more choices for what to study, the Kenan-Flagler Business School has dramatically expanded its size, and Carolina students – and Brothers at the Lodge – are very globally focused.

Of the 79 current Brothers at the Lodge, a majority consider their primary major to be business, closely followed by economics and biology. Most of the actives are double-majoring, and their “second major” (as they consider it) tends to be focused in the liberal arts: history, political science, and economics being the most popular. The minor is where the undergraduates have more choices and experiment more. After business, they minor in data science, business of health, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, conflict management, real estate, and many other areas. If you have been following recent articles on the summer enrichment scholarships, you have certainly seen that Brothers are literally in all four corners of the world in the summer.
